1. General

Q: Do you sell doors? 

A: We sell the sliding system / hardware and its accessories, not the door. However, our systems are compatible with any door type (respecting the characteristics).

Q: Do you have every product in stock? 

A: We normally have every product in stock. If it is not the case for some products, you would be informed on the website. However, we try to constantly keep our stock up to date.

 

2. Products

Q: If your system is designed for 1 door, can I still add a second one?

A: You can add a second door by purchasing the right hardware kit for 1 additional door. However, we do propose many sliding systems for 2 and sometimes 3 doors. Anyway, for almost each of our sliding systems, a kit for additional door(s) exists.

Q: Can I cut your tracks or fascias if you do not sell the size I want?

A: Yes, all our tracks and fascias can be cut to size. Make sure you use a strong saw. However, we can do it for you for free. You need to mention it in your order, in the comment section (mention the exact length to be cut to, in inches or centimeters).

Q: Is it possible to align several tracks to make a longer track?

A: Yes, it is possible. If perfectly aligned on the ceiling surface, there will not be any bumps while sliding the door(s). When mounted in front of the wall, connecting brackets are required to align the tracks together. Please refer to the product description to know the reference and the number of brackets to take.

Q: Can I install bypass doors with a wall mounted set-up?

A: Yes, but you need to make sure to take double brackets to mount 2 tracks in parallel. Please refer to the product description to know the reference and the number of brackets to take (if it exists for the range selected).

Q: My floor is not straight, is there a way to rectify it?

A: Yes, there is approximately a 3/16 in (5 mm) rectification on most of our sliding systems and hardware.

Q: Can I paint your tracks or fascias?  

A: Yes, but only using an appropriate paint meeting the track or fascia specifications.  

Q: What is the condition of your products?  

A: All our products are brand new

 

3. Invoice and Order

Q: What are the payment methods accepted by Home Sliding Systems?

A: We accept all credit card (VISA Credit, VISA Debit, MasterCard, American Express, UnionPay, Discover) or Paypal payments. 

Q: How can I modify or cancel my order?

A: To complete one of these operations, you need to contact us quickly at contact@homeslidingsystems.ca or by phone at 1 855 754-3187. You can also go into your Home Sliding Systems account and make the desired changes.

 

4. Shipping

Q: How are your sliding hardware and systems packed? 

A: We ship our sliding hardware and sliding systems in strong and secured cardboard tubes so that the products arrive in good condition.

Q: How long does it take to receive my products as soon as I place my order?

A: From the moment you place your order to the moment you receive it you may wait between 3 to 5 business days

Q: How do I follow the package delivery?

A: When the package is shipped, an email with a tracking link is sent to you. You can also find this link into you personal account, in "Order history".

Q: Can I buy online and pick up the package at our warehouse?

A: Yes it is possible if you contact us before to plan a pick up time.

 

5. Return and Refund

Q: If the product does not fit, how do I proceed?

A: You would need first to ask the return on your Home Sliding Systems account. In order to be refunded, you would then need to send us back the product. Note that in case of a return wanted by the client, we do not handle any shipping cost. However, we could arrange a pick up with one of our carriers. Check our return policy on the dedicated page Shipping and Return. For any question about a return please contact our team.

 

6. Security and Confidentiality

Q: Are the transactions on homeslidingsystems.ca secure?

A: Yes, completely. Homeslidingsystems.ca is hosted on a SSL server. It means that all the data you send to us is encrypted and protected. Even when paying by credit card, you would need to enter your information for every time you place an order.
